Cas Cal - Crisp White - Pear, Apricot, and Magnolia

Cas Cal is some tasty soda.  It’s not unlike a good cider or even a wine cooler, but with no alcohol.  I found it at Whole Foods in Union Square and I’d pop in again to try more flavors as this one disappeared pretty fast and left a good aftertaste.  So it’s gotta be a Bombevi.

BeviViolation #9: Tipped Over Food and Beverage Cart

photo-128

If you’re running one of the many food and beverage carts in the city, check your tow hitch to make sure it’s not going to snap when you’re making a right turn on Tillary St.  This cart straight snapped off the back of the shitty astro van that was pulling it and tipped over, spilling all kinds of sodas and punch into the street.  I sadly watch it flow down the hill, never to hit the lips of thirsty new yorkers.

Blood Orange Soda - Galvanina

photo-40

I recently found these in 4-packs at the Gristedes Supermarket in Brooklyn Heights on sale for $3!  Ever since I drank a ton of Blood Orange juice and soda in Florence, It’s been a part of my bevi-toire.

Galvanina’s Blood Orange Soda is no doubt a Bombevi.  So tasty and refreshing, it’s like sharp, tastier twist on Orangina or Aranciata.  Never a disappointing sip.

Raspberry Italian Soda - Lombardi’s Pizza NYC

photo-6

Order up one of these delectable afternoon treats and all the 5-year-olds in the house are sure to be jealous.   After you decide how much whipped cream you want to stir in, the thing goes in about 10 seconds.  Nice flavor, good carbonation.  Definitely worth the $3 if you’re in the mood for something sweet and tasty.  You’ve always got your water to fall back on.
